We see our patients by appointment only. We try to give our clients the flexibility they need in scheduling routine visits, while reserving time for urgent care every day. We strongly believe in seeing sick or injured patients promptly. When a client calls about a pet with a critical illness, one of our four veterinarians will see them immediately. Because we treat every patient as though they were a member of our own family, there may be some wait time if you have called with an urgent case that same day, or if an unexpected, critical emergency arrives. We appreciate our clients' understanding when this occurs. We strive to see all of our regularly scheduled appointments in a timely manner.
Stable patients needing overnight care may, by agreement between the client and the pet's veterinarian, stay at our hospital. We are not a 24-hour facility, and pets are supervised intermittently, not continuously. Many patients requiring continuous care are referred to the Capital District Animal Emergency Clinic for overnight care.
Our policy is to require full payment at the time that services are provided. We accept cash, checks, Mastercard, VISA, Discover and Care Credit. Any exceptions must be discussed and approved before services are rendered.
