Pam Bartholomew

Practice Manager

Pam has been a member of the staff since 1995. She manages the buisness aspect of the clinic, but she also keeps the clinic going, be it repairs or maintenance. Pam shares her life with her husband Dan and four dogs: Allie B, Grace, Sam, and Nelles. Allie and Nelles are German Shepherds, Grace is a yellow Lab, and Sam is a Bichon. Pam loves many outdoor activities, including fishing, camping, and hiking in the Adirondacks. She is an avid amphibian and rail enthusiast.

Michele Kordyjak

Assistant Manager

Michele has been with the clinic since 1999. She has a bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Cornell University and a master's degree in Health System Management from Union College. She is responsible for many administrative duties, but easily steps in to help whenever she is needed. She is well liked by the rest of the staff and is an all around team player. Michele shares her home with her Chihuahua, Pearl, and two parrots named Mr. Slim Pickins and Charley. She is an avid reader, a Stephen King fan, and she enjoys watching movies.

Diane Sickler

Receptionist

Diane has been a member of the Harmony "family" since 1991. She is a graduate of SUNY at Cobleskill with an Associates degree in Applied Science and Animal Science. She is best known for her friendly manner and her spoiling of patients and their owners. Diane has been involved with animals for many years. She bred and raised Golden Retrievers for ten years and she showed Quarter Horses and Hunters for twenty years. Diane loves to cook almost as much as she loves muscle cars and playing with her grandchildren, Emma and Benjamin. She also loves watching Nascar, camping, and taking her 1965 GTO to car shows. Her cats, Pita, Joey, and Little Hemi keep her occupied at home.

Heather Whipple

Receptionist

Heather joined the staff in September, 2005. She started her work in the veterinary field at Latham Animal Hospital, where she was an assistant. She enjoys working with all animals, large and small. Heather has much horseback riding experience and loves to barrel race. She and her husband Rob have three sons, Nathan, Gavin, and Chase. She also shares her home with Gauge, a Rottweiler, Magnum, a Boxer, and a two cats named Noel and Mush.

Debbie Johnson

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Debbie has been a member of the Harmony staff since 1995. She is a graduate of SUNY at Delhi, with an Associates degree in Applied Science and Veterinary Technology. Debbie has many years of experience and many areas of expertise. She is involved in reproductive work, with many C-sections under her belt. She enjoys microscopic work, looking at aspirates of lumps, blood slides or reproductive slides. She has done extensive work with puppy and behavioral training. In her "free" time, Debbie loves to work with her Viszlas. She not only breeds them, but shows them in breed, obedience, and hunt tests. She shares her home with the Viszlas, her husband Tom, her two children, a German Shepherd, and two horses. Debbie is also a very gifted artist.

Donna Bucher

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Donna joined the staff in April 2010, and it already feels like home. She graduated from SUNY at Canton. At her real home, she has two kids named Taylor and Jessie, a Cocker Spaniel named Bella, and 3 cats. She enjoys swimming, camping, reading, scrapbooking, and watching her son play baseball.

Dee Armstrong

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Dee has been a member of the Harmony staff since 1997. She has an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College. Dee enjoys working with the clients and their pets. She is often joking with them in the exam rooms or at the front desk. She loves radiology, lab work, and assisting with surgery. Dee left her full-time position here in 2005, but continues to work some Saturdays. She shares her home with four cats, three guinea pigs, her Corgie, Minnie, and a horse. She loves riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle in the good weather!

Ann Wainwright

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Ann joined the team in November 2011. She graduated from SUNY at Delhi. She has two children, Tucker and Hunter, and a large extended "family"- her dogs, Capone, Thistle, and Cedar, her cat, Mombo, and her horses, Patrone, Lily, Mikey, and Eli. She enjoys horseback riding and gymkhanas. She also enjoys hiking, camping, hunting, four-wheeling, golfing, and many other outdoor activities.

Sandy Claes

Veterinary Assistant

Sandy has been a member of the staff since 2001. She's been working with animals since age eight, when she started showing dogs. Before starting at Harmony, she worked alongside her husband as an owner/operator of a forty cow dairy farm in Fort Plain. Sandy had worked in the Veterinary field since the age of 16 and has extensive avian knowledge. She also helps owners to develop a physical therapy plan for their pets after surgery. Sandy is currently studying for her technician's license. She enjoys yoga, biking, gardening, and watching her daughter dance.

Misty Sharp

Veterinary Assistant

Misty joined the staff in 2004. She has an Associate's degree in Applied Science in Equine Studies from SUNY at Cobleskill. Misty enjoys handling birds and assisting in all areas of the clinic. She shares her home with her husband Shawn, two dogs, and a goat. Misty enjoys making blankets, camping, hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. They now have a new baby named Landon, born August 11, 2010.

Gail Phillips

Veterinary Assistant

Gail joined the staff in 2007. She grew up in Dutchess County, and got a degree in nursing at a local college while still in high school. She got in the field when she decided she'd rather work with animals. She now breeds and shows six bulldogs. She is married to a wonderful husband named David, who is a taxidermist. Gail has a son, David, and two stepdaughters, Megan and Mary, who has a baby named Elizabeth. In her free time, she likes to garden and help her husband out in his shop.

Nicole Riggi

Veterinary Assistant

Nicole joined the staff April 2010. She graduated from the University of Conneticut in 1993. As a child, she never had any pets, but she makes up for it now with 10 cats, a lizard, and three dogs: Schnopps, a Schnauzer, Paddington, a toy Poodle, and Peanut, a Chihuahua. She lives with her husband Douglas, and likes hiking, biking, reading, horseback riding, and gardening with her dogs in her spare time.
